This stunning 56m classically proportioned ketch is in the final stages of completion at the world renowned Royal Huisman.
The exterior designed by Dykstra Naval Architects has been crafted to deliver style and performance and will be a joy to use for the world-cruising required by her owners.
Mark has worked closely with the owner and his experienced team to design a very finely detailed classical interior with white hand painted timber panelling contrasting the beautiful mahogany joinery and furniture. The overall feel will be of New England ‘relaxed elegance’, with crisp mouldings and contemporary detailing.
An area of special focus has been the master suite which includes a centreline skylight, study, walk-in wardrobe and raised deckhouse leading directly to the private aft cockpit
For this project full-scale mock-ups of the suite were created to experience the space, layout and ensure that the perfect arrangement was created for the owner and his family who are planning to spend long periods aboard whist sailing world-wide.
